Course description
Geologic processes; structure and history of the earth; earthquakes, volcanos, glaciers, groundwater, minerals, rocks, deserts, fossils; topographic and geologic maps; climate change on geologic and human time scales.
Responsibilities
- Lead lab sections designed to reinforce basic geoscience concepts from lecture.
- Help develop new lab assignments more focused on building critical thinking and observation skills for majors and non-majors.
- Grade lab assignments and manage email communication with students.
